Triund Trek in Dhauladhar

Triund is a base camp for trekking passing through the Indrahara pass of Dhauladhar mountains. It is also known as the resting or grazing ground for Gaddi shepherds that pass on with their herds from Chamba to Kullu and vise versa. Triund is now a days a picnic and must go spot for tourist who love to be near nature.

Day 1: Gradual trekking from Mcleodganj
After breakfast start a gradual walk to Triund from Macleod ganj. Trek to Triund passed through dense forest and Dharamkot village. Enjoy the views of kangra valley and reach at Triund. Triund trek is considered easy to moderate. Overnight in tents,

Day 2: Triund – Bhagsu – Mcleodganj.
Wake up morning and roam about nearby, take photographs of the snow clad (if present) Dhauladhar mountain and after breakfast start back trek to Mcleodganj visiting Bhagsu village.

Stay in Bhagsu or Mcleodganj or take a night bus / train to your destination.
